My real spiritual awakening started at the end of 2015 when I didn’t have any real direction toward my long-term goals. I was interested in astrology at an early age and have always felt intuitive as a young girl. After earning a college degree, my path still didn’t seem to fulfill me. Little did I know I’d discover my psychic gifts to provide guidance to others.
In a turn of events, a friend suggested I sign up for massage school and psychic classes. I had to trust the journey and I also had nothing to lose. In turn, this kick-started my awakening and led me to my purpose. I was guided throughout this journey by mentors and received readings of my own from other talented mediums. This helped me surrender fully to my path. I would not be where I am today without them and these tools.
After I graduated from both areas of study, I went on to heal and provide guidance to others through bodywork and psychic readings. My main tools at the time included pendulum readings, tarot cards, channeled writing, and astrology. This was vital to my healing as well. I had no choice but to trust the signs and synchronicities all around me.
I went on to participate in my first psychic fair. It was extremely nerve-wracking, as I haven’t read for any real clients yet in person! It was a balmy late summer afternoon in mid-Michigan. I set up my table, along with the other vendors on the property. In addition, I tried to make my area as welcoming as possible and hoped for the best.
I remember what my first client looked like. She had this beautiful and long curly silver hair that blew with the breeze behind her. I noticed her before she noticed me. Then her blue eyes spotted me out of everyone else. She had a big smile and she was filled with warmth and curiosity. She sat down across from me for a tarot reading. There was no specified question, she just wanted me to see what comes up for her. I was very anxious at that point, so I tried my best to hide my insecurity and continued on with the reading.
My strongest gift is clairsentience, which is defined as clear feeling. I had already picked up that this woman was a strong healer. I had the gut feeling that she wanted to live the rest of her life helping others but didn’t know where to begin. She grew up in a society that expected her to act a certain way or do certain things. Yet, she had gone through so much triumph and tragedy. She was at the point of a life-changing transformation. Her spiritual growth had become her main priority and it was the only thing that kept her grounded. This growth helped her get through it all.
Her story was very similar to mine, in the way that there is never a real concrete answer for what to do next besides take inspired action and follow that inner compass. She had to take the first and the rest will fall into place. She knew she had to initiate this next transition by taking a leap of faith. This reading ended up being close to an hour and it felt like no time had passed at all. It was the most pleasant energy exchange for the both of us. We were in sync with each other and channeling the right guidance. It was as if she was meant to find me that day!
Throughout the rest of the psychic reading, my guidance was that she had to go through every experience for a reason. And she understood that. This all led up to that specific moment in time at the psychic fair. It was the ending to a new beginning. Eventually, we said our goodbyes. I asked her to keep me updated, as it is important to follow up after a reading. A month or so later, she contacted me to tell me she moved to the west coast. Her goal was to start her own business in herbalism. She pushed through her self-limiting beliefs and accomplished everything she wanted to do without guilt or regret.
Since then, I went on to expand my practice. At the moment, I have a virtual practice with clients across different countries. In all instances, my job is to use my intuition and psychic gifts to provide guidance others who have a hard time using their own. In fact, that is the whole point of true surrender. To develop and utilize the gifts all of us have within our souls to heal ourselves and others along the way. To learn how to co-create with the Universe as one.
